The Perks!

I guess I can't complain....sometimes it pays to wake up early! These last couple of weeks have been amazing in Seattle and the clear skies, colorful sunrises, and magnificent views of both Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood as I cross I-90 have made the early morning drives into work almost bearable. Actually, it has been great and such a lovely reminder that God created this delicate balance of beauty and duty. I am so blessed to live in this world...

Here are some of my early morning sights (two of which were taken by my phone- they don't do it justice).

pretty! how sad that by the time the sky is that beautiful, i'm already in my portable for the day! (there is one window, but it faces a chain-link fence topped with barbed-wire!). I'll have to sneak out during 1st period sometime to see if I can catch a glimpse. Great pics-- thanks for sharing!

love, katie d

What's even more sad is the Jeff is still sleeping and misses it all, while we're both up and at work!!!

They really are beautiful. I was saying to Dave today how lucky we are to have the commute through such amazing scenery. I'm not up either though so thanks for enjoying the morning goodness for me!

I love those early morning sunrises! Look at you seeing the silver lining . . . . not everyone would be so blessed by the commute - I just love your attitude about it.

I love driving across the bridge in the morning. It's so beautiful. Washington is one of the best states i've lived in.
