Simon and Wesley's senior photo. Simon tenderly asked if he could hold Wes-el-y, and this is what we captured.
A tickle fight ensued, but I'm not too sure Wes was into it- Help Mom!

Wes is a healthy little boy and the doc gave us the ok to start solids. So far we've only tried rice cereal and I can't say that he loves it...I'll post a video of the frowns and gags from his first session soon. But after a few days it's gotten much better and tomorrow we're on to something new- so fun!

Wes is such a sweet boy...I love his chubby little cheeks and the rolls that have started to develop on his legs...I love his soft voice that seems to sing along with music while we drive around town. I love that he has begun to enjoy a bit more "rough housing," playing peek-a-boo, and can roll both directions. I love that his face lights up when he sees me and that he can smile with his mouth, eyes, shoulders AND eyebrows- it just depends how excited he is! We are beyond blessed to be parents to such a special boy!
Today at MOPS our pastor's wife recalled a quote that I liked- Children are books to be read, not books to be written. I can't wait to discover what kind of boy he will become.

He is so cute! I love that one with Simon and Levi, and Wes' little eye is peeking through . . . . too cute!
I can't believe he's already 6 months old! And the fact that we've never even seen the little guy in person! Time just flies....
