Our little owl was a hoot...and although I didn't capture his little "who" face (which he does all the time, and was the inspiration for his costume) I think he was rather cute.
I made his costume after being inspired by this one. Wes sported it at two parties, our church's Harvest party and cousin Levi's b-day party where Wes enjoyed his fair share of candy wrappers.
Hope everyone had a great holiday!
I'm going to attempt to write on this ol' blog everyday this month, a challenge by Alisha (or at least my interpretation of it). Anyone else want to join me? You can take Andi's approach and share things you're thankful for....for instance, I am thankful for a sunny Fall day, a baby boy soon to be turning one who has adjusted to the time change swimmingly, and Mops tomorrow.

I'm in! I posted today (it's about you). I missed yesterday so I'll just start from here.
fun fun I will most certainly give it a try too! And your owl was to cutest I have ever seen!!
Wes is the cutest owl ever. I hope he scares away all of the neighbor's birds.
Pat- you're too funny!
Jenny- Wes' costume was the best of the year! He was such a cutie- great work Momma!!
I knew you had it in you, Jenny! Great work on the costume...better than I imagined it. And Wes definitely knows how to work it...the baby butt roll was an excellent touch.
I'm doing great so far on the November novel challenge. The explanation of how I'm participating can be found on my blog. Can you believe it will be two days in a row that I've blogged?
That's a fab costume - it seems to fit Wes's personality! I can't believe he's almost a year old too. Glad you're doing the blog challenge and looking forward to all the great posts!
Jenny - you did a fabulous job on that costume!! So CUTE!
Maybe I will try this post a day thing...I have a lot to be thankful for and have enjoyed posting to my blog lately.
