10 on 10 :: January :: Work

And now for a recap...

My day started off at 9..ok, it really started at 6:15, but 9 is when I read Rebekah's post...and so it began with a little coffee (I regretted it later) and some zipfizz...by 10 I was ready to kick off my shoes (infact, I do this quite often and even walk around the office barefoot...the only person who minds is the admin and I just ignore her when she tells me to put my shoes on). At 11 I decided to look out by bosses cubicle window (mine doesn't have one) and noticed that the man made pond had spilled on to the sidewalk due to last nights rainfall..for some reason I hadn't remembered it raining that much- a true Seattlite! For lunch I went "off campus" to Panera with a co-worker...and then it was time for a potty break ;) (I think I was pretty tame with this photo)- 2:47..is it time for me to go home yet? Oh no, it's almost 4 (man the time actually goes quickly when you try to take a photo every hour)...hmm, what next? Ok, my name plate...someone else put those pictures on there..one of them is Mrs. Brady- I guess I have a domestic reputation. I then left work a bit early to pick something up from my parents house..it's their 32nd wedding anniversary- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Mom & Dad! And what of the next photo? A surprise Christmas present from Jane- 10 handmade cloth napkins and a napkin folding book (when we were sophomores in highschool we went on a cruise with my mom and learned to fold napkins like the one above)- how thoughtful Jane- they're a treasure already AND Jeff was pretty excited about the book- expect great things the next time we have a dinner party! Lastly, a trip to the Ol' Spaghetti Factory...for a "manager's favorites"- 1/2 brown butter & mizithera, 1/2 meat sauce...included in every meal- bread, salad, milk, and spumoni- an affordable treat!

I had fun doing this..but I felt trapped at work- thankfully 2/10 is a Sunday! AND I'll have my real camera and not just the cell phone.

I agree with the layout! :) You are such a great photographer Jenny...such unique shots.

Have you figured out the lensbaby yet? I'm still fiddling with mine...

That's a nice idea to condense a whole ordinary day in a post...(well done, Rebekah! ^_^).

Nice to see yours, Jenny!

If I'll have the chance, I'll post our 10 on 10 next month!
Can we join the "10 on 10" team?

I love the commentary with the pictures. Are you out for hire? Next month I might just send you my photos and let you make up the story. That would be fun huh????

I like it! I might choose a different random day and go for it each month. Hmmm....

Really? No shoes?

So i'm a little slow on the down-low but love the photos of your day! I would participate but you would see too many diaper changes and picking up of spilled and crushed food. I like Rebekah's photo of the toilet paper.... mine would be full of that as well.
