Today I came home to take a nap and let Jeff know he'd have to find a ride home from work (we've been carpooling).
Well, Jeff came home and discovered my keys still in the door...OUTSIDE! And with my car key on it and the car just sitting in the driveway. Ugh, at least nothing bad happened.
I think I'm officially losing it.

hm, you must be pregnant! Glad you are ok :).
once--years ago, when i wasn't pregnant--i left my keys in my car downtown, with the driver's side window rolled all the way down. i was blocks away and walking back to my car after my appointment when i couldn't find my keys in my bag...and the panic set in. lucky for me my car was still right where i had parked it...with the keys dangling in the ignition. i guess my '65 rambler wasn't worth the trouble...even if it wouldn't have been that much trouble... :)
happy to read that jeff got to your keys before anyone else did!
well,I'M not even pregnant and I left the garage door open this evening for 4 hours...the house wide open for all to take!! whoops! All was still here, but yeah...really makes me wonder- where in the heck is my brain?!
You're definitely pregnant! And it doesn't get much better for a while...post baby is just as bad. I actually just read about a study about it the other day proving that women during there fertile years have difficulty remembering and staying on task. At least we're all in it together!
I guess I must have been fertile since about 12 then...
sick.
you know? it's not just a girl thing. Tom has done this THREE times now, while we were living in Seattle. And he left them in the door alllll night long, and only discovered them when he went to work the next day.
You're not alone...I did this before I was pregnant and I was living in the ghetto! I didn't figure it out until I had to go to work the next morning and couldn't find the keys...
Hmm...wonder what crazy things are going to happen POST baby.... :\
yes, i've heard of this type of thing...pregnancy brain. sounds totally normal! :)
love you!

I'm glad nothing happend! I still go through it...I had to take up bags of stuff from the store, Thad "made" me carry him, and it was up three floors! David came home hours later and told me the keys were in the door! It will get better...I think.
