Feeling Lucky?

Guess what? Wes has taken 7 bottles in a row! Yesterday while changing the little man he started to pull out his gavage tube and then when I put a new onesie on my hand accidentally got caught and pulled it out some more. The nurse decided to take it all the way out and leave it out until he needs it. Well, he hasn't needed it yet. Looks like the little bubba was ready for it to come out. We're not completely there yet, but we're getting close. We'll see how he does at the next feeding (8 in a row would be 24 hours and I think that means the switch will have flipped) and what the neonatalogist has to say. Exciting!

I love all his baby parts!

Fresh from his 3rd bath- no gavage tube! Look at our baby!

Oh, it's such a rough life...getting bathed like a Roman senator, having to suck and swallow all your meals...

He is SO adorable! I know what you mean about the rough life-- I keep telling Isaiah the same thing. He's taken to grunting, even while he's sleeping. Must be tough, sleeping most of the day!

I'm so thrilled for you guys, Jenny! Let us know if you need anything while you wrap up your time at the hospital. We can't wait to welcome you back to the neighborhood!

By the way-- my word verification is "imingst"-- crazy, huh?

Go Wes! What a tough little kid! AND he's writing already with perfect handwriting. His future teachers will be so impressed. ;)

I can't wait to see you all someday soon. Give your two boys hugs from me :)

Being a "Gough" I knew it wouldn't be long before he would be chowing down!!!! He definetly looks a bit like his Daddy! I've been sick so I haven't been out to see the little guy. I can hardly wait!! Aunt Sass loves you Wesley - Mom and Dad too!!! XOXOXO
