Feeling Inspired

I can't remember which blog I was looking at that pointed me in the direction of this granny square beauty...thus I don't know how to look it back up :(

However, the color in this has made me want to pick back up my crochet hook and relearn how to make these gorgeous squares! I haven't crocheted in years...but I used to love it once, pre-sewing days...and once again the idea of it is quite appealing.

Perhaps others of you would want to join me? We could get together once a month with our yarn and hook?

It's the granny square blanket by Sandra Juto:

I recognized it because I bookmarked it myself! I hope to learn how to make one too, but it looks like it would take quite a while...a fun project though!

I would love to join you, Jenny! However, I don't know how to crochet. Maybe you can relearn by teaching me :)

Caroline asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said "a new skill that I could do with my hands...like knitting or origami" but after reading your post I'm thinking maybe it should be crochet! I still don't know how to get a skill for Christmas, but I'm going to try. I'm sad I won't be near you to join in the crochet parties.

Those are great colours Jenny. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Hey Jenny!! That quilt is gorgeous! You should definitely learn how to make it so the un-talented folks like me could buy it from you! :-) Don't forget to send me instructions on how to pay you for the nursing apron. Thanks again for doing that for me!! Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas! Stacey Kyler
