We're Back!

...and trying to get the house back in order, Wes back on a decent schedule, and missing the everyday access to our families.

I'll have a picture post of both of our trips (one with the Gough family on the coast of WA & OR, and the other with the Penaranda family in central OR) on here soon.

But for now, it's just a "hi" and one photo of our little family...I'm not quite ready to dive in head first yet, maybe just get my feet a little wet?

bath, check. bags packed, check. groceries purchased, check. early to bed...we're getting there!

"how cliche can you get?"- Jeff asked me this as I typed. i'm sure i can get a lot worse, don't ask!

hoping to have updates on here of our fun family vacation, this could not have come soon enough...Wes has been teething, maybe? and also suffering from a tiny cold. this makes for long days for mommy...but he's so darn cute, it's hard to resist him.

wish us luck on our LONG car rides- this could be interesting!

I'm pretty sure a raccoon popped our kiddie pool! (Mandy, I know you warned me)

Exhibit B- mesh strainer used to clean the pool has small indentations on the handle (bite marks!!)

Huge bummer, looks like I'll be making a trip to boatworld for a patch kit. At least the weather has cooled down a bit.

In other news I found these 3 photos of Wes taken in April, May, and June...apparently I LOVE photos of him on his playmat AND his terry striped shirt. I realize there's not a huge difference in how he looks, but I thought I'd share anyway.


Today we went to a free trial class at gymboree and I think Wes liked it- this may be just the thing for the winter months. Oh, and I'm almost done with the face of Wes' quilt- yippee for motivation!
