Boy time, and I don't mind...

As a crafty mama of a BOY, it often pains me to see cute craft ideas for girls (good thing I'm getting a niece in the next few days, weeks, minutes?)...but finally, there's a crafter that's celebrating the BOY this month and has craft ideas for the entire month of February (did she pick the shortest month because it's still really hard to come up with cute (cool) boy ideas?). Either way, I'm excited!

I'm looking forward to attempting the bow tie and possibly the 90 min. shirt and seeing what the rest of the month holds.

If you've found any other great boy crafts please let me know, I'm in a crafting mood...and I have one up my sleeve that I'm hoping to get done this month and share with you all. I think my little Wessy will just LOVE it.

You are a crafty mama! I love the link you gave to celebrating boys through craft. Have you thought about making Wes a mini-sports uniform, like the Mariners or the Sounders or the SPU track & field team? I just saw a baby picture of Dan wearing a New Zealand All Blacks rugby uniform (he was also holding a rubgy ball!) that his mom had made and it was really cute.

Also, my friend Jessi has two little boys and is always crafting, so check out her blog at http://hopeistheanchor.blogspot.com/ for possible inspiration! :)

can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve, jenny--i know it will be awesome! and those bow ties are adorable... can't you just picture simon, levi, evan, wesley, and miles all wearing them in different prints? thanks for sharing your craft ideas and inspiration here!

p.s. i want to see more granny squares as you make them, too!
