On this weekend last year the Gough family (plus our dear friend Jane) spent a relaxing time at our family cabin on Hood Canal. It was Wes' first trip to the house, I think, and his first bon fire...but alas no smores for him that time. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if he's been back...and I think he'd rather enjoy it, with all those rocks to throw and tiny crabs to uncover. Guess this means we're due for another vacation.

This weekend Jeff celebrated the 30th birthday of a dear friend while Wes and I visited Grandpa and Grandma Gough (along with a couple aunties, an uncle, and a few cousins). We also enjoyed an impromptu bbq in this amazing weather after attending church...fun, fun two years in a row!
