Lake Wenatchee

Last weekend, at the tail end of Jeff's tour, my parents watched Wes while I took a retreat into the hills with a few friends. We enjoyed the natural beauty, the amazing "cabin" overlooking the lake, a craft or two, some homemade pasta, a nap, sleeping in, a quick trip to Leavenworth, and the pleasure of each others company...it was a well needed escape!

An unplanned matching shirt day!

Bucatini arrabiata- yum!

What are those little fuzzy crafty things? Based on my limited craft knowledge, and constant feline interaction, I would say cat toys. :)

Great leaf colour change action.

I thought they were felt eggs, but not sure what the purpose was. Jenny, shed some light!
