Yep, it's our 3rd wedding anniversary today, our "golden" one since it's 3/3!
I enjoyed looking through our honeymoon photos last night, remembering the relief we felt when we landed knowing that the wedding and flight were over and we could begin to relax. Unfortunately we arrived late on the island and were delayed even further at the car rental when we decided to upgrade to a jeep so we had a really hard time tracking anyone down to let us into our condo.
3 years later I can't remember all the details but I do know that I loved laying out, snorkeling at Molokini and hearing whale calls underwater, breaking my back body boarding (and then realizing that my sinuses were full of salt water and I didn't have anything to wipe my nose), shopping at various surf shops without feeling like a "poser" (which I now feel like for even using that word), eating at Mama's Fish House, the spa at the Grand Wailea (seriously, this may have been my favorite thing), enjoying time with Jeff and getting to call him my husband for the first time- life was good and it continues to be.
I'm still wishing we would have taken the road to Hana and climbed Haleakala...guess we'll just have to go back! Pretty please...

I love these photos from your honeymoon and last week was reading a post I did with a picture of you, Kristen and myself the day of your glorious wedding! I can hardly believe how time has flown and of course could not imagine life on this journey without you as my Sister.
You and Jeff bless everyone who knows you so deeply and generously and we love your sweet family so much. I know God has big plans for you in the coming year and it is an honor to be able to share in it!

Grand Wailea Spa Grande is possibly the closest thing to heaven, here on earth! I am so glad you two were able to experience it together.

I would have to agree about the spa at the Grand Wailea. Bryan and I went twice on our honeymoon. Happy anniversary to you and Jeff!
So Sweet! Gosh that makes me miss Maui. Matt's never been. It's enough to make one wish for a vacation get-away for two. :) Sigh. Someday.

Another year goes by and I still think you were married on 3/10...sheesh! I guess that's what happens when I don't attend the actual event :( Sorry I can't get it straight, but I love you both! And I'm so grateful that I've been able to see you so frequently over the past 3 years....it hasn't been enough, but it's been wonderful. Here's to your 3rd edition! (And your 3rd ADDition...little Wes!)
